MVP Web Developer

🔨 Job Post: MVP Web Developer for Housing Startup
Project:
We’re building a visual, interactive website that lets users explore and begin the process of buying and building a small home online — from selecting a model to choosing upgrade tiers.

This is not a standard marketing site — the site is the product.

This posting is focused solely on the MVP for Apropos, the house model selection interface — not the broader Tiny Townships platform.

🔍 What We Need:
A lean MVP site built in WordPress (Elementor preferred), with a basic front-end flow to:

  • Show 3–5 models with images, pricing tiers, and descriptions

  • Simulate selections using basic front-end interactions (e.g., tabs or dropdowns — no backend logic yet)

  • Retain selections across pages using front-end methods (e.g., localStorage or session-based state)

  • Guide users through a simple 3–4 step explanation of the build process

  • Display a running total as users make selections

  • Capture user info and selected options via a form at the end of the flow

  • Submit captured data to Zoho CRM (via field injection or API/webhook)

Other Requirements:

  • Mobile responsive, clean layout — black text on white, minimal, architectural feel

  • Visual tone should match https://dacusti.com — clean, modern, precise

  • Basic analytics setup: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn (codes already in hand)

  • Code should be clearly organized and handed off in a maintainable state (HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress structure)

🎯 Goal of This MVP:
To validate interest by collecting qualified leads — users who explore available models and submit their info after making basic selections. This version does not require live pricing logic, full quoting, or account creation — just a clear, functional selection flow and a successful form submission.

💼 Ideal Skills:

  • Elementor or similar WordPress page builder expertise

  • Confident designing clean, modern layouts — similar to https://dacusti.com

  • Light JavaScript or CSS for interface logic (e.g., conditional displays, tabbed selection flow)

  • Experience working with localStorage and injecting data into form fields or CRM submissions

  • Ability to move fast, simplify scope, and not overcomplicate

  • Respect for clean design and minimalist aesthetics (no clutter or gimmicks)

💵 Budget & Timeline:

  • Hourly: Open to hourly proposals — ideally $50–$100/hr depending on experience

  • Timeline: 3–5 weeks to deliver a lean, functional MVP

  • Budget cap: Targeting under $5K CAD for Phase 1, with potential for further work afterward

  • Knowledge of BC housing or construction is a plus

🔎 Prototype:
You can preview an early prototype at https://tinytownships.ca/apropos/house-plans/, with rough-in concepts of the larger project (beyond MVP) at https://tinytownships.ca/apropos/. The current setup uses a full-screen selector approach, which has promise — but we’re also open to a scroll-based layout with a sticky header if it better serves the MVP. We’re looking for someone who can help refine the structure while keeping scope tight and execution lean.
